OG的解释是A答案their指代歧义（因为their在语法上可能指代visitors、parks和犀牛）
而从逻辑角度上讲，their显然是不能指代visitors和parks的（人类和parks显然不能长角，作者的逻辑意思显然不是这个）
这里变成了语法优先于逻辑？

这个造句：members of the cheetah species ARE like clones in their similarity to one another.

明显就变成OG 75题的问题了。
从逻辑上来讲their只能指代members
从语法上来讲their可能指代到clones和members，而OG 75有歧义这里却没有。。。。。。。。。。。。。。


或者这道题的错误在于manhattan上讲的“too close指代问题”？

首先，我绝对否认你说OG12 #75是"这里变成了语法优先于逻辑"


By definition, if you want to claim "这里变成了语法优先于逻辑", you have to prove that the logic is sacrificed in the correct choice.
i.e. you have to prove that the correct choice has worse logic but better grammar, which leads the choice to win.


Really?
I fact, the correct choice has both optimal grammar and logic.


Regarding the pronoun ambiguity issue,
one choice is "their"
the other choice is "the animals'"
then, obviously, the latter is better in clarity.

其实我也认为OG75的A选项有点搞笑，tourists怎么会长角呢？


以下是take-home: 我需要扫视选项，如果我见到有的选项的代词，在另一些选项里被它指代的名词所取代，那么我就知道这个代词有ambiguity issue.

类似的例子在prep里很多，都是这个规律，你不妨总结看。


但并非叫你看到their前面有多个复数名词就纠结pronoun ambiguity，你看看有没有选项能resolve. 这题E选项一点问题都没有的。你举的那个题，A选项错误多了去了，且pronoun问题在别的选项里有更好的解决。

我就是做题做到不能分辨答案对代词ambiguity的tolerance程度。GWD这道题代词指代根本就不是考点，分辨考点的能力看来也是非常重要的。


总结起来代词指代是以逻辑为优先的，GAMT对于ambiguity的容忍程度超乎想象。除非代词选项有明确的split，不能以代词指代问题作为排题的前最初步骤

我看了下，Manhattan最新版的SC已经去掉这一块了，完全没有"too close"一说。在Pronoun那一部分去掉了"The Antecedent Must Be Unambiguous"整个这一节，变成了新的一节"What about pronoun ambiguity"的两页多的讨论。

看来第四版已经过时了。考之前还要看看新版。

Yeah~所以我现在也是像那上面说的，除非代词问题太egregious不能忍，一般不拿代词来排除选项。
这道题，我个人觉得最准确也最快捷的思路，就是：


每当我见到 like A, B___________. 或者 unlike A, B____________. 的时候，我都要确定A和B可比.
那么这道题，A=clones，B必须是members啊。
只要你懂clones这个英文单词，那么毫无疑问，其他选项可以直接排除，只剩下E.
