请问大牛C不能看成是并列成分的省略吗？不是说前后两个句子并列，第一个句子有be或者become,第二个句子中的be 或become必须省略吗？这个句子开头不是有be becoming,可以把这个部分省略吗？

拙见是，computers 和modems是并列的。
作者想说，modems are becoming faster, more powerful, and more reliable too，用so指代画线部分。所以be动词不能省略啊
比如甲说，I want an apple.乙说So do I.不能说So I.是不是这个意思？
所以只能AB选一个了。A的they指代不明，B更准确，就近同位语。

但是没有明白啊，想想觉得有道理哈，比如I am gorgeous,so are you.好像不能省略成I am gorgeous,so u~但是那条省略be 和become的规则什么时候适用呢？

具体是哪条原则里面省略be？
好像是the more, the more后面的比较级里面有省略be的用法，不过也比较少。
