D 是说第一个是支持第二个（结论）的论据，这说反了
第一个是做出的假设，是在一个让步的前提下，说，尽管不是直接导致的，但可能是间接导致，第二个给出了一个可能的判断：可能是温度影响了食物，又间接影响了数量

还是要读题的！第2处不是结论，结论在中间，即第1处，虽然这是个看似先否定然而最终肯定的结论；第2处是支持结论的推断，不是结论。

我同意A选项的前半句话，但是后半句说the second is a judgment offered in spelling out that hypothesis.这句话是什么意思呢？我理解成“第二个是排除那个假设的推断”，而实际上第二部分应该是支持那个假设的。是不是我理解错这句的意思了？

spelling out 是解释的意思。第二个是一个判断，这个判断详细解释了第一个假设。

谢谢楼上，呵呵，我还以为spell out是排除呢，所以一开始就把A排除了，唉，还是词汇不过关

恩 我也犯了这个错误，spell out怎么猜也猜不到是 解释清楚的意思...
