Jennifer: Video rental outlets in Centerville together handled 10,000 fewer video rentals in 1994 than in 1993. The decline in rentals was probably due almost entirely to the February 1994 opening of Videorama, the first and only video rental outlet in the area that, in addition to renting videos, also sold them cheaply.

Brad: There must be another explanation: as you yourself said, the decline was on the order of 10,000 rentals. Yet Videorama sold only 4,000 videos in 1994.

Videorama怎么是the first and only video rental outlet in the area 。。。前面不是说了有很多rental outlets了吗。。
这里又说94年新开了第一家（还是唯一一家）rental outlet ，那不就和前面的Video rental outlets in Centerville together handled 10,000 fewer video rentals in 1994 than in 1993矛盾了吗。。

J：video rental outlets1994年比1993年少租了10000个，这主要是因为Videorama的开业（videorama又租有卖）
B：这个现象有其他解释：video rental outlets1994年少租了10000个，而Videorama在1994年仅仅卖了4000个
（意思是说outlets出租量下降与videorama无关)
找哪一个选项削弱了B的观点，即找一个选项能证明outlets出租量的下降是与videorama有关。
E选项正好指出了这一点：卖了video的人都会吧自己的videorama借给别人看，这样一来其他的人就不会再去租video了，直接影响outlets的出租量。

注意videorama的定语修饰，他是一个既租又卖的~

其实我比较不明白的是A选项 A说videorama租的比卖的的多，不是正好说明videorama占了很大的市场份额么？不是正好影响了outlets的出租量了吗？

A没有把videorama和其他video rental outlets比较，而是自己和自己比，得不出结论

削弱b要基于a的条件，不能简单的只关注b。videorama租的比卖的多，能够削弱b的观点关于videorama并没有给这个地方带来太大的影响。但是还是要关注一点，a中说整体的outlet是下降的，将二者联系起来，就能得出文中削弱的是在整体下降的条件下，videorama是对这个结果有影响的。在a选项中没有得出这个含义

同时即便是卖的多，也不能体现他在整个行业的地位，所以削弱不足
